Waiting On Spring

Moon Shadow wants to know when the green stuff gets here?

Me too!!

New Arrivals

Not growing in the garden... but out in the pasture!

The newest addition to our horse family...

Moon Shadow.

A beautiful Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa Arabian filly.

Pictured here at 12 hours old.

Mom is very proud... and so am I!

Beautiful Fall...

The morns are meeker than they were,

The nuts are getting brown;

The berry's cheek is plumper,

The rose is out of town.

Love the fall! Bright, clear skies. Crisp air. And the scent of smoke about

as yards are raked... the crunchy remains of the summer

removed and the plants enjoy a much deserved

rest.

Wonderful evenings spent with the family out by the fire.

Discussing the week to come.

And what to plan for next weekend!

Flowers Everywhere You Look!!

This time of year, there is so much more to see along with the gorgeous turning trees

and cool weather flowers. I enjoyed my usual walk around Wiggins for the annual

merchants Halloween Trick-or-Treating!

Favorite Time of Year

Happy Halloween!!

Relief

by Jesse, leadmare.com

As the world whips by

I hear the beat of my horse's pounding hooves

The concerns and worries of life rushing away

In a fury of wind and leaves.

Patience

The garden is free of leaves, branches and winter scatter. I was at Wal-Mart yesterday and saw ladies purchasing tomato plants... pepper plants... and all kinds of annual flowers. I am thinking it would be best to wait... two more weeks perhaps.

The horses are not shedding their winter coats yet. Which tells me, the cold weather is not over!!

Patience!

And I have so very little of it.

Pansies at the Pond

Playing with the layout... will probably have to edit a couple of times... also playing with a different camera (as mine quit... my new digitial SLR will be here Monday... Yippee!!)

An angle can make a complete difference. Aperture setting.

And then you get a completely different look.

Isn't Photography fun??!!

Enjoy your flowers.
