Polly The Congo African Grey
She doesn't much like to be handled, but boy can she talk! I have come running to the house from the barn numerous times because she imitates the sound of my girls screaming... perfectly!
Oh this brings back memories, we lost our African Grey last year, she was such a part of the family, Mum had her for 40 years, I had known her my whole life. They are such wonderful birds.
She is a grand gal! I have 3 others. The one pair were wild caught and want to be left alone, but John, another male, likes to be scratched and played with. I can't believe the vocabulary they accomplish.
